Indemnity insurance is compensation paid to the beneficiaries of a policy for a particular loss. Examples of indemnity insurance may include repairs, cash payments and replacement.
It can also be a form of protection in terms of a policy purchased by a business or practitioners against actions for which they or their agents would be liable.
