Challenges In Porting C++ Windows To Linux Platform

Can any one explain the process to follow in porting C++ source code from Windows platform to Red hat linux platform. Give some over view of this porting. Also let me know some example of System Calls and Built in functions which are changed in Linux when compared to Windows. <br> <br> Is there any documentation which will explain this? <br> <br>Thanks, <br>Kumar
